Pre-Arrival Readiness Checklist

Cambridge College provides incoming international students with a structured pre-arrival readiness checklist to help them prepare for their studies and comply with Canadian immigration and provincial requirements. The checklist includes, but is not limited to:

  • Application for a valid study permit: Through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
  • Enrollment in British Columbia’s Medical Services Plan (MSP): Or confirmation of private health insurance coverage during the initial waiting period.
  • Accommodation guidance: Support in securing suitable accommodation prior to arrival, including off-campus housing options.

Designated International Student Advisors are available to provide individualized guidance and respond to student inquiries, ensuring that pre-arrival requirements are clearly understood and completed before entering Canada.

Post-Arrival Orientation

On-Campus Orientation and Facilities Overview
Upon arrival in Canada, Cambridge College conducts a formal post-arrival orientation program.
